Residence permit for 2023

Montenegro has become one of the most accessible countries, where you can quickly obtain a residence permit in Europe for Russian citizens who want to get a residence permit abroad. The whole processing is quite simple, since the country is not part of the European Union.
A residence permit is an official document in the form of a plastic card, which is a proof of permission to stay in the country. As a rule, it is issued for 1 year. It can be used to work in the country for that duration. After this period expires, a citizen of the Russian Federation can apply for an extension of the residence permit. As a rule, the total uninterrupted period is 5 years.

Having a residence permit allows a Russian citizen to work in Montenegro, conduct entrepreneurial activities, receive free medical care in various medical institutions. Children of a citizen with a residence permit can also attend schools and kindergartens. When you have a residence permit, you can easily buy a car or register it in your name.

The granting of a residence permit does not automatically entitle you to enter the European Union. However, it subsequently makes it much easier to obtain a Schengen visa and even a visa to the United States. It will be easier to travel to other European countries.
